We collect information you provide directly (name, email, professional bio, skills) and information generated by your use of the service (proposals generated, job descriptions pasted, win/loss tracking). We also collect standard usage data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) through analytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Proposio service, personalize AI-generated proposals to your voice and style, process payments, communicate service updates, and analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the product. We do not sell your personal data.
3. AI Data Processing
Job descriptions and proposal content you submit are sent to Google Gemini (our AI provider) to generate proposals. This data is processed according to Google's API data usage policies. We do not use your proposals to train our own models without explicit consent.
4. Data Sharing
We share data with: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Google (AI processing), Vercel (hosting), and analytics providers. All providers are bound by data processing agreements. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data as long as your account is active. Deleted accounts have their data removed within 30 days. You can request data deletion at any time by contacting privacy@proposio.ai.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted database storage, and access controls. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your data.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. EU/UK users have additional rights under GDPR/UK GDPR including data portability and the right to object to processing. Contact us at privacy@proposio.ai to exercise these rights.
8. Cookies
