What does “100% autopilot” actually cover?
Everything up to the send button. Autopilot watches your job feed around the clock, reads each new posting, scores it against your profile and writes the full proposal — you are not involved in any of that and do not have to be online for it. What it does not do is submit on your behalf.
Why not let it submit for me too?
Because a proposal sent under your name to the wrong client costs you Connects and reputation, and neither is refundable. The draft is the expensive part and the machine does it; the ten seconds of reading before you press send is the cheap part and it stays yours.
What does Autopilot need to run?
A job source. The straightforward one is an Upwork saved search: open Find Work, save a search, click its RSS icon and paste the address into the Autopilot panel. Without a source the switch can be on and still have nothing to read, so this is the one field worth getting right.
How often does it check, and how many drafts will I get?
It wakes every ten minutes, day and night, and only looks at postings from the last three days. Each run writes at most three drafts, the day has a cap that follows your plan, and it stops altogether once twenty-five unread drafts have piled up — so a week away does not come back to a hundred stale letters.
Do I need the Chrome extension?
Not for Autopilot — that runs on our servers whether your browser is open or not. The extension is for the manual path: it reads the job on the page you are looking at and fills your proposal into Upwork's form so you are not copy-pasting.
Will clients notice it was AI-assisted?
They notice generic proposals, whoever wrote them. The draft handles structure, research and speed; the one specific line you add before sending is what makes it read as yours — which is another reason the send button is where the loop stops.
Is it affiliated with Upwork?
No. Proposio is an independent tool that helps you write and organise your own applications. It does not represent Upwork or any other marketplace.
What do I get for free?
Enough to judge it properly: a monthly allowance of proposals plus daily job scoring, extension included. Autopilot itself is a paid tier. Current limits for every plan are on the pricing page.
