Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Proposio, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, free users, and paid subscribers.
2. Use of Service
Proposio is an AI-powered writing assistant designed to help freelancers write better job proposals. You may use Proposio to generate, edit, and manage proposals for your personal freelance work. You may not use Proposio to generate spam, to mass-submit proposals automatically, to violate the terms of service of any freelance platform (including Upwork), or to engage in any fraudulent or deceptive activity.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: submit false or misleading information to the service; use Proposio to generate content that violates any applicable law; attempt to access or interfere with other users' accounts or data; reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse our API; or use the Chrome extension to auto-submit proposals without human review. Proposio is an assistive tool β you must personally review, edit if needed, and manually submit all proposals. You are solely responsible for any proposals you send to clients.
4. Chrome Extension
The Proposio Chrome Extension is available on the Chrome Web Store and is designed to help you generate proposals directly on supported job platforms such as Upwork. The extension is a read-only assistive tool β it reads job post content to help you generate proposals but does not submit anything on your behalf. Use of the extension is governed by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
5. Subscription and Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard β your access will continue until the end of the paid period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period unless stated otherwise in Section 6. Subscription prices are not fixed for life: we may change the price of any plan from time to time. If we change the price of a plan you are subscribed to, the new price will apply to your subscription starting from your next renewal after the change takes effect. We will give you reasonable advance notice (by email and/or in the app) of any price increase before it applies to you, and you may cancel before the next renewal if you do not wish to continue at the new price. Continuing to use the paid plan after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated price.
6. Refund Policy
We want you to be satisfied with Proposio. Refunds are available within 14 days of the original purchase for annual plans and within 7 days of the original purchase for monthly plans, provided you have not used more than 10 AI proposal generations under the paid plan. To request a refund, contact us at proposioai@gmail.com with your account email and reason for the refund. Once a refund is approved, processing time may take up to 10 business days depending on your bank and payment method. Refunds are processed to the original payment method used at checkout.
7. AI-Generated Content
AI-generated proposals are provided as writing suggestions only. Proposio does not guarantee any specific outcome, including being hired for a job. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all AI-generated content before use. You own the proposals you generate through Proposio β we make no claim to intellectual property over your output.
8. Intellectual Property
Proposio, its logo, interface, underlying technology, and original platform content are owned by Proposio and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for the purposes described in these Terms. You retain full ownership of all proposals and content you create using the service.
9. Limitation of Liability
Proposio is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of freelance contracts, lost income, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid to Proposio in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Proposio after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
