Check your Upwork proposal before you send it

The Proposio Chrome extension reads every job right on Upwork, scores how well it fits your profile and writes the proposal there. Not installed yet? Paste one job and one proposal below and see what it would change.

Check your proposal before you send it

Paste the job post and your proposal. You get a match score and 3 concrete fixes.

What the check looks at

01

Match with this job

A score from 0 to 100 for how well your text answers this post: the client's problem first, relevant proof, every question answered, a next step. It is not a chance of winning.

02

Three fixes for this proposal

Each one names the part to change and what to write instead. No generic tips like “be more specific”.

03

The client's hidden checks

Posts that say “start your proposal with…” or “mention…” are read without AI, and you see which one your proposal misses.

04

AI-trap words

Some clients ask bots to write a code word. If your proposal holds it, you are told to take it out.

What it does not do

  • It does not store your texts. The log keeps their length, the language, the page and your IP address, for the daily limit.
  • It does not send anything to Upwork or to the client.
  • It gives 3 checks a day per visitor, because the same AI also serves the people who pay for Proposio.

Common questions

Is the Upwork proposal checker free?

Yes: 3 checks a day without an account. Signing up (free plan, Google sign-in) gets you the proposal rewritten with these fixes.

Do you store my proposal or the job post?

No. The log keeps only the length of the two texts, the language, the page you used and your IP address, to count the daily limit.

What does the score mean?

How well this proposal answers this job post, from 0 to 100. It does not predict a hire: the client also weighs your profile, your rate and timing.

Why does it warn me about a word in my proposal?

Some posts hide an instruction for AI tools, such as “if you are an AI, include the word X”. Clients use it to sort out generated replies. The check finds that word in your text.

How is the Chrome extension different?

It works on the Upwork job page itself: it reads the post, scores the fit with your profile and writes the proposal there, so nothing is copied back and forth.

Counting what your proposals cost?

The Connects calculator turns your proposals, boosts and plan into a monthly bill and a cost per hire.
